- iTutor group is based in Beijing, China.
- Requires Online English teachers to teach children & adults.
- Has classes 24 hrs per day.
- Pays by direct, bank transfer only, to the country where you live.
- Pay rate is determined by: the country you are living in, qualifications, experience and your mock lesson.
- Types of lessons: 1-1, group, Chinese school classroom, seminar and demo lessons.

REQUIREMENTS:
To teach online in China, the Chinese goverement have made the following rules which you can read about it here:
- An honours degree.
- A TEFL / TESOL / CELTA
- One years expereince of teaching online. If you don’t have that, consider this.
- A native English speaker, or near native with no heavy accent.
- Must fix 10 hours of Beijing primetime hours to a weekly schedule. Beijing primetime hours are from Monday – Friday, 18:00 – 21:00pm and Saturday 09:30 – 20:30 and Sunday 08:30 – 20:30
- Must be willing to teach children and adults.
- A good internet connection of at least: 800 kbps downloading speed or above and 500 kbps uploading speed or above.
- Windows Operating System must be Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or above with 2.00 GB of RAM.
- Mac OS must be version 10.10.12 or above.
- Connection must be hard wired – Not wifi
- A good hi-res computer camera (not the internal one )

THE SELECTION PROCESS:
- Apply directly online.
- The process is automated.
- Following the automated interview, you will be asked to complete a a mock lesson.
- This will then be sent to HQ and assessed.
- If successful you will be asked to complete an in-house training called ‘on-boarding’ which will teach you how to use the company software and teach you the companies policies.
- Uniform is a simple red polo top.
- A headset with attached microphone.
- You will have a trial period of three months.
- All contracts are of a self-employed status.
- Contracts are on a rolling basis of 6 months automatically renewed unless the company or the teacher discontinues.
